I am thrilled to introduce you to a fresh approach to hospitality training that focuses on nurturing newcomers to the industry. With a background in Theatre from the University of Kent, I have always been passionate about the art of service and the importance of creating memorable experiences for guests.
As a busy mother of four young children, I understand the challenges of balancing family life with professional aspirations. My journey in the hospitality sector began alongside my husband, who founded Exclusive Household Staff (Link to website) in 2012. Through our work together, I gained invaluable insights into the intricacies of the hospitality industry and the vital role that well-trained staff play in delivering exceptional service.
Recognising a gap in the market, I decided to shift my focus from training at the top level of hospitality to developing a program specifically designed for newcomers. My vision for Green Plate Training is to provide accessible, fully funded, government-recognised courses that empower individuals to embark on their hospitality careers with confidence and competence.
In addition to my experience in hospitality, I am also a qualified Level 3 counsellor/psychologist, which has equipped me with the skills to support and guide individuals as they navigate their training and career paths. I believe that a strong foundation in both practical skills and emotional intelligence is essential for success in the hospitality industry.
At Green Plate Training, we are committed to fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment where aspiring hospitality professionals can thrive. Whether you are looking to start your journey in this dynamic field or enhance your existing skills, our tailored courses are designed to meet your needs and help you achieve your goals.
Join me at Green Plate Training, and let’s embark on this exciting journey together.
